Julia Montes-Kathryn Bernardo rushing shooting of their first film

FANS OF JULIA MONTES and Kathryn Bernardo who miss them now that “Mara Clara” has ended will be pleased to know that they’re now shooting their first movie together. Tentatively titled “Home”, their movie is not a rehash of “Mara Clara” but is a totally different material. “We’re so happy na after a hit TV show, isa namang big movie ang binigay sa amin,” Julia says. “Sana, kung gaano naging kainit ang pagtanggap nila sa ‘Mara Clara’, ganun din ang suportang ibigay nila for our first movie together.”

“We also want to thank our director, Jerry Sineneng,” says Kathryn. “Napakabait niya sa set kaya lalo kaming ginaganahang magtrabaho.”

Jerry directed “Mara Clara” the movie in 1995 starring the original cast of Judy Ann Santos and Gladys Reyes. It was a big hit. We have no doubt his movie starring today’s stars of the “Mara Clara” TV revival will also be a blockbuster. Julia and Kathryn are paired with Sam Concepcion and Albie Casino in the movie. The shooting of their movie is now being rushed for it to be shown right away while the "Mara Clara" fever is still fresh in the minds of their fans.
