Lovi Poe' brother scolded her for going sexy

MOTHER LILY calls Lovi Poe her favorite actress. And why not? Lovi is the one who is doing the most number of movies at Regal at the moment. She plays the bitch everyone hates in “Temptation Island”, the wife of Dennis Trillo who has an affair with Jake Cuenca in “My Neighbor’s Wife”, a creature of the night with Dingdong Dantes in “Aswang”, and she’s also in the Metro Filmfest entry, “Hototay” with Ruffa Gutierrez and John Lapus. On TV, she plays Althea, the love interest of Richard Gutierrez, in “Captain Barbell”. “I hardly have time for myself but I enjoy being busy than moping at home,” she says.

And thinking about her lovelife? “But I have no lovelife to speak of, except for my work. I truly love my work as an actress. I really want to thank Mother Lily for all my projects now.”

At the presscon of “Temptation Island”, John Lapus calls her the Star Witness, the Jessica Alfaro who saw what really happened between Marian Rivera and Heart Evangelista on the set of “Temptation Island” in Ilocos. Would she care to reveal what she knows about the issue? “I think it’s best not to talk about it na lang. Let’s just focus on the movie. Maliit lang ang mundo ng showbiz, tapos pare-pareho kaming Kapuso stars, mas maganda kung maaayos na lang ang lahat.” Will she make a move to mediate between the two when Heart returns from Brazil? “Ay no, it’s better to leave it between themselves. Ayoko ng makialam diyan. This is also the reason why I’d rather not talk anymore. Mas lalaki pa yan.”

Is it true her half brother, Ronian (the late FPJ’s son with Anna Marin), scolded her for going sexy? “No, wala siyang sinasabi sa’kin. Never naman akong sumobra. Daring lang, but wala pa kong talagang pinapakitang topless ako. I appreciate my Kuya’s concern but he has nothing to worry as I know my limitations.”
