LOOKS LIKE Richard Gutierrez will not be making a Valentine come February 2012. We heard Regal and GMA Films are currently cooking up a project that will star Robin Padilla and Marian Rivera as their Valentine presentation. They’ve already met with Robin and he is very amenable to the project. But the fans of Marian are on the rampage saying they’re against it as Robin’s camp was unkind to Marian at the time she was embroiled in a controversy with Bela Padilla. Our advice to the fans is to move on and not be bitter.
As it is, the shooting of the movie will have to wait as both Robin and Marian have their respective Metro-Manila filmfest entries. Robin is in the remake of “Mr. Wong”, an action comedy, with Angelica Panganiban as his prospective leading lady, while Marian is playing the role of the dragon lady in “Ang Panday, Ikalawang Yugto” with Sen. Bong Revilla.
