Metro Filmfest submission ends on Thursday, June 9

THOSE WHO WANT to join the 38th Metro Manila Filmfest 2011 have until tomorrow, June 9, to submit their scripts as entries. Eight (8) scripts will be chosen as official entries by a Selection Committee, to be shown exclusively in all theaters in Metro Manila from December 25, 2011 to January 7, 2012. The MMFF Executive Committee is mounting the competition this early, in order to promote the selected official entries more extensively to the movie going public. You can submit the following requirements to the MMFF Secretariat at the 2nd floor, MMDA Building, EDSA cor. Orense St., Guadalupe, Makati City: (a) Notarized Application Form and fifteen (15) copies of the script, together with a notarized affidavit that the material has never been produced nor has participated in any local or international film festival and stating that the producer agrees to abide by al the rules and regulations governing the MMFF; (b) Proof of payment of non-refundable application/entry fee of P 30,000.00 for every script; and (c) Detailed Filmography containing the list of proposed or intended lead actors/actresses and director(s) who shall participate in the film.
