Nadine Samonte left GMA-7 and moved to TV-5

NADINE SAMONTE is the latest Kapuso talent to move to TV5 after JC De Vera, Wendell Ramos and Arci Munoz. She signed a 3-year exclusive contract with the Kapatid network. She said she met with GMA execs first about this and she was given the go signal to transfer. Nadine just shone in the recently concluded afternoon soap, “My Lover, My Wife”, and folks thought she’d be given the lead role in “Sinner or Saint”. But the project was given to Bianca King so Nadine chose to move to TV5 where they promise to take good care of her. Their first move is to repackage her so she’s given her own stylist and is made to enroll in a modeling school to give her a total make-over. TV5 wants people to be surprised when they see her again on screen as the new Nadine. She’ll star in a new soap, “The Sisters”, that will replace “Babaeng Hampaslupa”, and the Studio 5-Regal co-production for the Metro-Manila Filmfest, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”.
