A few days after that, John himself announced in his noontime show: “Single po ako.” When she was interviewed by “Showbiz Central” last Sunday, Rachelle finally confirmed it: “Yes, wala na po.” Earlier, she gave a heartfelt rendition of “It’s Best to Leave When I’m In Love” in “Party Pilipinas” and those who heard her say she sang it with so much emotion you can really feel what she’s going through. “Hindi po madali ang pinagdaraanan ko ngayon,” she later said. Someone said the breakup came to Rachelle as a total surprise as John’s family and her family have already become so close.
Is it true there’s a third party involved, Bianca Manalo? “Hindi ko po alam,” Rachelle replied.
In other words, as Pia Guanio said in “Showbiz Central”, she was the last one to know that they’re already broken up. And John Lapus added: “Sa text na lang daw siya ininform.” How sad.
It’ll be recalled that Rachelle also wasn’t lucky with her previous BFs. Her first, Christian Bautista, split with her as he wanted to focus more on his career.
