“I know what I was getting into,” says Solenn. “We’re not there to have a picnic so don’t expect to have 5-star hotel accommodations. Actually, what we experienced there is nothing compared to what I went through when we did ‘Survivor Philippines’ in Thailand. Doon talaga, mas grabe pa, but I was able to stay on until the end of the show. Nasugatan pa ang paa ko and the wound has not fully healed inside up to now, so bale wala talaga yung Ilocos. Shooting ‘Temptation Island’ is really no joke kasi we experienced a sand storm sa desert then on our last day naman, we encountered the storm Egay in Subic at grabe rin ang nangyari sa amin doon. But we hope and pray that all our hardships in making this movie will be rewarded by the viewers. This is really nice so sana, panoorin nila when it opens on July 6. I’ve seen the original ten times kasi marami kong gay friends who love it. Our version is definitely better.”
Solenn has just finished recording her first album to be launched in July and, by August, she’ll have a two-night solo concert at the Music Museum.
