Aki Torio still a virgin

SINCE ‘BAGETS’is rating so well on TV5, there’s a plan to schedule it right against the youth oriented shows of GMA-7 (“Tween Hearts”) and ABS (“Good Vibes”). How does Aki Torio feel about this? “Scary, but we hope it’ help para tumaas pang ratings namin,” he says.

It’s the consensus among writers that Aki has the most number of fans among the ‘Bagets’ cast as he’s funny without even trying, but he denies this. “Lahat kami, marami ng fans. Kami ni AJ Muhlach, we feel sad na nawala kami sa ‘Party Pilipinas’ kasi yung fans namin, they watch our group there regularly, XLR8. E, sa TV5 kasi ang ‘Bagets’, so inalis kami ng GMA sa show nila. It’s good sinama naman kami ng TV5 sa youth oriented show nila, ‘Hey, It’s Saberday’.”

A Japino with Japanese dad and Pinay mom, his parents live in Japan and he resides with an aunt here in Novaliches. “But I’m visiting them on August 9. Bale one week ako roon. Also, I have to renew my passport there.” He’s sad that one of their mainstays in “Bagets”, Johann Lorenz, has resigned. “He won’t be in the second season. Tinapos niya lang ang first season kasi he realized priority niya ang studies niya dahil malapit na raw siya mag-graduate.” Their latest episode is about male virginity. They’re all virgins in the story but Johann chose to lose his virginity to a prostie when he turned 16 and someone posted this on Twitter.

Is he a virgin in real life? “Yes, virgin pa po ako,” he stresses. A writer comments: “Siguro sa babae lang.” And he quips: “Ay, hindi po, sa lalaki rin. Ayoko nga pa-virgin sa lalaki.”
