Angelika Dela Cruz doesn't mind playing another villain role in Futbolilits

ANGELIKA DE LA CRUZ plays another villain role in “Futbolilits” that starts airing on Monday before “24 OraS” and she says she has no qualms doing villain roles as long as she has work to do. “I was a villain in my last show, ‘Dwarfina’, and villain din ako dito ngayon sa ‘Futbolilits’ as Paolo Contis’ wife, but I don’t mind. This time, medyo may pagka-light ang atake kaysa sa contravida roles ko before,” she says. “Hindi problema sa’kin kundi man ako nabibigyan ng lead role lately. Masaya akong may trabaho ko kaysa nasa bahay ka lang at nagmumukmok.”

Her son, Gabby, is now two years old. Any plans of having another child soon? “We plan to have two more kids kung ibibigay ni Lord, pero saka na siguro. We’ll wait until nasa school na si Gabby. Kasi pareho kaming hands on as parents. Ayaw naming basta iiwanan sa babysitter. At least, kung nasa school na siya, maaasikaso na namin yung magiging kapatid niya.”

She plans to run for public office in Malabon next election. “My late brother Edward won but yun nga lang, nawala siya. So I intend to run next year. As of now, I help out my dad sa kanyang pagiging barangay captain sa lugar namin.”
