Barbie Forteza gets diamond earrings from Joshua Dionisio

BARBIE FORTEZA is very vocal in saying Daniel Matsunaga is her crush. A writer asked her if she’s not scared that Heart Evangelista might confront her because of this to ask why she said that Daniel is her crush? “Ha? May ganun?” Barbie laughs. “Crush lang naman, e.” She laughs all the more when another writer told her she’s just being compared to someone who reportedly got mad when Heart said she’s excited to be paired with her boyfriend. “Naku, mahirap palang magka-crush sa BF na ng iba,” Barbie quips.

Her ka-love team, Joshua Dionisio, gave her diamond earrings recently and she gave him a bike. Does this mean they’re on now? “Hindi po. Ayoko pa po paligaw. Token lang yun ng friendship namin sa isa’t isa. Malapit na kasi 14th birthday ko on July 31 and, as of now, siya talaga ang masasabi kong closest friend kong lalaki.”

What if she’d learn that Joshua is wooing someone else? “Di bahala siya. Di sasama loob ko, pero kung magge-girlfriend siya ng iba, I think I’ll miss him kasi siempre, he’ll give more time na to his girlfriend, kung sinuman yun.”

They banner the GMA Films’ youth movie, “Tween Academy, Class of 2012”. Do they feel the pressure of carrying its weight when it’s shown in theatres next month? “Nakakakaba kasi iba talaga ang movie kaysa TV show. People will have to pay to watch us. But we’re confident na magugustuhan ito ng all types of viewers. Marami pa naman kaming kasamang love teams dito so magtutulong kaming lahat to make sure people will love watching ‘Tween Academy’.”
