Bela Padilla warns Aljur Abrenica not to break the heart of cousin Kylie Padilla

WHY DID BELA Padilla accept her villain role in “Sisid” when she already played a lead role in “Machete”? “When they explained how important the role of Monique is in ‘Sisid’, nagustuhan ko siya,” she says. “Hindi siya just another villain role but may substance. Sosyal dito si Monique, manipulative at Inggliserang ex-GF ni Dominic Roco na laging well dressed at naka-designer bags pa. Also, I’m a good team player at puede ko both in bida and kontrabida roles. I’m also glad that our director, Sir Ricky Davao, is an award-winning actor and I’m learning so much from him, lalo na how to interpret yung mga eksenang dramang mabibigat with Jackie Rice na lagi kong sinisiraan kay Dominic.”

She was paired with Aljur Abrenica in “Machete”. Now, Aljur is linked to her cousin, Kylie Padilla. How does she feel about it? “I’m happy for them. I told Aljur not to break Kylie’s heart or else marami kaming relatives ni Kylie na makakalaban niya,” she laughs. “Mabait naman si Aljur and he promised me never niyang paiiyakin si Kylie.”

She made it as No. 77 in the FHM list of Sexiest Women. “Yes, I was surprised kasi hindi pa naman ako nag-pose for them for a sexy pictorial. I just want to thank all those who voted for me kaya napasali ako roon.” Does this mean she’s now ready to pose for them? “I’m trying to convince myself but hindi pa ko talag ganun kahanda and I don’t feel my figure is not that sexy naman. Another factor is I want to join a beauty pageant sana. E, pag nag-pose na raw sa sexy magazine, di na puedeng kukunin sa beauty pageant.”
