Dolphy celebrates 83rd birthday at TV-5

COMEDY KING DOLPHY is turning 83 and TV5 is giving him a birthday special tonight replacing “Talentadong Pinoy” temporarily. The two-hour tribute to Dolphy will be titled “Talentadong Pidol”. Hosted by Ryan Agoncillo, the show features a spectacular gathering of the biggest stars headed by Tito, Vic and Joey opening the show. It’ll be a nostalgic journey honoring Dolphy’s remarkable achievements and contributions to the movie and TV industry. Kapatid stars and the industry’s biggest names will greet Dolphy. Highlighting the occasion is a rare moment with Dolphy teaming up with Willie Revillame in a medley of songs about friendship, love and their dedication to the entertainment industry. Willie also gives a surprise presentation that will make the Comedy King emotional. Known as a ladies’ man who had real-life romance with his on-screen partners (such as Pilar Pilapil, Lotis Key and Alma Moreno), Dolphy pledges his undying love for his queen, Divine Diva Zsa Zsa Padilla, in an inspiring duet. Directed by Al Quinn, Talentadong Pidol airs tonight at 8:00 p.m. on TV5.
