Edgar Allan Guzman celebrates his 5th anniversary in showbiz with his life story featured in “Star Confessions” of Cristy Fermin tonight, with Joross Gamboa playing him. He served as a backup dancer for Joross before he won in “Eat Bulaga”. Happy to be a Kapatid, he’s in two regular TV5 shows: “The Sisters” where he plays
Nadine Samonte’s gay best friend and “Hey, It’s Saberday”. After his acclaimed performance as the teenage father two years ago in the Cinemalaya entry “Astig”, for which he got a best supporting actor nomination, he’s now in two new Cinemalaya movies: as the closet queen son of Tirso Cruz III in “Bisperas” in the Directors Showcase category and the male lead in “Ligo na U, Lapit na Me” for the New Breed category. He has also just released his 5th Anniversary collection of songs inspired by his Cinemalaya entries entitled "Breakthrough" now available in Astrovision and Odyssey branches nationwide. “Ligo na U” will have its gala premiere tomorrow at 9 PM at the CCP Main Theatre.
