MAYOR ALFRED Romualdez and wife Cristina welcomed GMA-7 with open arms to promote their shows in the beautiful city of Tacloban. The Kapuso network had its own contigent in the Sangyaw Festival led by big tarpaulins plugging shows like “24 Oras”, “Amaya”, “Munting Heredera”, “Blusang Itim”, “Sisid ”, “Sinner or Saint”, “Futbolilits”, “Andres de Saya”. The finale was the float of “Captain Barbell” with Richard Gutierrez, TJ Trinidad, Michelle Madrigal and Ervic Vijandre on board throwing away goodies like shirts and bags to the crowds along the way. Richard is so happy with the warm reception given to them by the people of Tacloban. Later on, they joined Ogie Alcasid, Kyla and kiddie star Jillian Ward in the Kapuso show in front of Robinson’s Tacloban. We were there and the whole place was so jampacked with people. Later on, it rained, but the people didn’t leave so the stars had to go on with the show even if everyone got drenched.
