Nadine Samonte buys condo and new car with TV-5 talent fee

IT TURNS out no TRO was filed against TV5’s “The Sisters” and it started airing last week without any impediment. The Kapatid network is happy with its rating, considering that i’s being aired so late due to the frequent overtime of Willie’s show. “The Sisters” is from komiks novelist Rod Santiago who also wrote the hit ABS series, “Agua Bendita”, that’s likewise about twin sisters. Nadine Samonte says she’s having the time of her life playing the two roles of sisters Bella and Cristina. “Mahirap gawin kasi for each scene, I have to dress differently at binabago pati hair and makeup ko,” she says. “But it’s very fulfilling as not all actresses are given the chance to play this kind of demanding role.”

TV5 PR exec Peachy Guioguio says they saw that Nadine is also a crowd drawer when they had a mall show for “The Sisters” at SM Taytay the other weekend. “Thousands really came and waited for her makita lang siya,” she says. “Her song numbers were all well applauded. Grabeng tilian and everyone wanted to have their picture taken with her. After the successful pilot week, more viewers will be hooked with the show dahil ditto na ipapakita how the sisters will be torn apart because of their vengeful and scheming aunt, Socorro, played so effectively by Rio Locsin.”

Nadine, in turn, is very grateful to TV5 for taking good care of her. Out of the payment she got upon signing a contract with them, she was able to buy her own condo unit and a new car.
