“There are scenes na I can feel sobra na yung ginagawa kong pang-a-under kay Cesar but our director reminds me that it’s what makes it all the more funny,” she says. “Sobrang taray kasi ni Mat, to the point na any man will feel emasculated sa tapang niya. But I’m enjoying doing comedy after all the dramas I’ve done these past couple of years. And we’re glad that the audience likes our show that’s why it’s getting high ratings.”
Can she be bossy in real life? “Only up to a certain extent, to get things done, but I’ll definitely not treat anyone like the way Mat treats Andres in our show. Habit na sa kanya yung paninigaw niya kay Andres, e. I would never do that to the man I’d marry.”
Does she see herself marrying non-showbiz BF Atticus King soon? “No, not yet. Marami pa kaming ibang plans pareho. And if ever I’d marry, I see it as a partnership between equals, with no one really dominating anyone. We’ll be a positive influence on each other.”
She's also happy that her past soap, "Beauty Queen", is now a hit in some Asian countries and she wants to do another again soon.
