Jake Cuenca courting Lovi Poe?

SINCE SHE’S THE only actress in the cast of “Temptation Island” who showed up at its blowout, Lovi Poe was besieged by the press asking what she thinks of the Marian Rivera-Heart Evangelista tiff that hasn’t stopped even if the movie is now already making money at the tills. “I feel sad about it as we’re all hoping matigil na,” she says. “But I’d rather not react at all kasi the more it won’t stop. No one’s gaining anything naman from this, from both sides. They’re my friends, pareho ko silang mahal. Sana, quiet na lang, pati fans nila.”

She’s elated with the good reviews for her role as the bitchy Serafina in “Temptation Island”. “Salamat talaga at nagustuhan nila ang acting ko and I’m now more inspired to work and give my best. Suwerte lang ako si Serafina ang role na napunta sa’kin kasi colorful siya talaga. Pati boses at pagsasalita ko, binago ko to fit her.”

Jake Cuenca was her date in the “Temptation Island” premiere night, making tongues wag that she’s Jake’s replacement for Melissa Ricks. “He said he wanted to watch the movie so, sumama siya. Nagkasama na kami sa Bench ad and we became closer now that we’re shooting ‘My Neighbor’s Wife’ kaya madalas kami magkasama.”

Is he courting her? “You ask him, not me. I don’t want it to come from me. Basta sa ngayon, we’re friends kasi we’re doing a new movie together.”
