Judy Ann Santos-Ryan Agoncillo to be reunited on the big screen

JUDY ANN SANTOS is making her comeback film with husband Ryan Agoncillo in the filmfest entry “My Househusband”. Is she happy that this was the one chosen by the screening committee and not the entry with Coco Martin? “Ako, masaya kahit anong pumasok kasi both projects are good,” she says. “Nabasa ko yung script ng kay Coco at maganda rin yun. Pero siempre, mas kampante na kami kay Direk Joey Reyes who’s directing ‘Househusband’ kasi nakasama na namin siya sa dalawang filmfest entries (‘Kasal, Kasali, Kasalo’ and ‘Sakal, Sakali, Saklolo’) at maganda pareho ang naging resulta. Excited na kami to work with him again.”

So when will they start shooting? “We asked Direk Joey at baka by August na raw kasi ngayon, ulan pa ng ulan.”

How about her TV show with ABS-CBN, “Junior Master Chef”? “We’ve taped two episodes and we might start airing by August or September. Pero gusto ko sana, tapusin muna yung buong season bago kami ipalabas para mas maganda.”

Juday and Ryan are together in their latest endorsement, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog, along with their daughter Yohan. “Actually, si Yohan ang bida rito at nasa background lang kami ni Judai,” says Ryan. “Ang motif is a fashion montage from the 80s to 2000 at paiba-iba kami ng suot na damit. The campaign shows the freshness heritage of Purefoods Hotdog then, now and forever. We loved Tender Juicy as kids, part yan ng own childhood namin, and we pass this on to Yohan and this what makes it the market leader in its category. At bata pa ko, I was already rooting for the Purefoods team sa Ultra.”

“Kami talaga sa bahay, pag may special occasion, laging may Tender Juicy as part ng handa namin,” adds Juday. “Bahagi yan ng childhood ko, so when they asked us to endorse it as a family, yes kami agad kasi bilib kami sa produkto.”
