Martin Nievera pays tribute to Frank Sinatra and other music icons in an intimate concert

MARTIN NIEVERA has done many intimate concerts before but the one he’d do for the plush Resort World Manila on July 16 and 23 would be something different. “It’s entitled ‘Tribute’ and I will sing the songs of well loved music legends like Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Michael Jakcson, as well as iconic Pinoy composers like George Canseco, Willy Cruz, and Louie Ocampo,” he says.

After his hit concert with Sarah Geronimo at the Big Dome, “Tribute” will mark his return to the one-man show he’s been famous for. No doubt the country’s numero uno balladeer, Martin has become a much sought after performer even in Las Vegas. He has recently done shows at the MGM Grand and the Suncoast Hotel at the entertainment mecca of the USA.

“I’ve performed all over the world but I always look forward to singing for my kababayans here in Manila,” he says. “They’re not easy to please but they can be very appreciative.”

He’d also be singing his own hits like “Be My Lady”, “Each Day with You”, “Say That You Love Me”, “Ikaw ang Lahat sa Akin”, “You Are My Song”, “Kahit Isang Saglit”. Tickets to “Tribute”, ranging from P2,500 to P3,500, are now available at Ticketworld 891-9999 and Viva, 687-7236.
