Mother Lily presents her new Regal Babies

MOTHER LILY Monteverde is serious in her partnership with TV5. She signed up four of TV5’s new Star Factor discoveries to an exclusive film contract. “From now on, you’ll also be Regal Babies,” she told Eula Caballero (Star Factor winner), Morisette Amon (1st runnerup), Ritz Azul (3rd runnerup) and Jazz Ocampo (finalist). Present in the contract signing were TV exec Percival Intalan and Audie Gemora, head of TV5’s management agency, Talent5.

We ask Perci how is it working with Mother Lily? “It’s a great experience and I’m learning a lot from her,” he says. “Now I know why people in the film industry hold her in such high esteem.”

The TV5 girls are now taking up acting workshops in preparation for their first film roles.

Eula, 16, from Cebu is the busiest among them as she has three regular shows: “Hey, It’s Saberday”, “Bagets, Just Got Lucky” and soon, “The Sisters”, the Nadine Samonte-starrer where she’s paired with newcomer Victor Silayan.

Ritz, 17, from Pampanga was part of the recently concluded “Mga Nagbabagang Bulaklak” and is the first one to do a movie as she’s part of Regal and TV5’s filmfest entry, “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”. Morisette, 15, has the most powerful singing voice among them and will have a concert this afternoon at 5 PM at Robinson’s Manila, directed by Sam Concepcion. Jazz is the youngest one, only 13 years old. She plays a good role in “Bangis” as the girl paired with newcomers CJ Caparas (son of Direk Carlos Caparas) and Mavi Lozano (son of GMA Films line producer Elaine Carriedo Lozano.)

“We’re all excited to be part of Regal,” says Eula. “Dream ko talaga maging Regal Baby.”

“We promise to do our best para hindi kami mapahiya kina Mother Lily and Sir Percy for their trust in us,” adds Ritz.
