Rhian Ramos underwent therapy after breakup with DJ Mo

RHIAN RAMOS is one of the two female co-hosts of Manny Pacquiao (the other one is Isabelle Daza) in his new GMA-7 game show, “Manny Many Prizes”, that airs Saturday, July 16, 6 to 7:30 PM with Paolo Contis and Onyok Velasco as the male co-hosts.

Won’t she fall for Manny since she has a history of falling for not so tall guys (like JC De Vera and DJ Mo)? “Oo nga, no? Nasa profile ko, diba?” she laughs. “But feeling ko di yun mangyayari. He’s married, no? Close friends lang kami sa kulitan kasi maganda bonding namin sa show.”

Or is it because it’s said she and Mo are close again and they communicate everyday? “That’s not true. Maling-mali yun. Ewan ko nga sa nagsasabi niyan kunsaan nakuha yan. We only talked nun lang inayos yung gusot sa’min and after my concerns have been addressed, we never talked again. But bawal ng pag-usapan what those concerns are.”

Has she forgotten him? “Five years din kami naging best friends so di yun malilimutan ng ganun lang, pero may mga bagay siyang ginawa na masasakit and I really got angry about that.”

What can she say about Mo admitting he underwent therapy? “It’s a great thing. Sa States, natural lang yun to see a therapist when you want to sort things out na di mo basta masabi sa friends mo. I also went to one. Every week yun . I need to fix things up for myself. It helped me in mastering the art of not holding grudges. I found a way to be okay, part of my coping mechanism. It’s also good my family was there to support me. My dad who works in Bangkok came here and said he just wants to hug me. Very touching nga.”

Did she file a case against Mo? “No. Even when I consulted a lawyer, I already made it clear there’s no need to bring it to court. Now, I’m glad I’m so busy. I host ‘In the Limelight’ on GMA News TV Channel 11 and now I have ‘Manny Many Prizes’ on GMA. I’m also doing two new movies. I’m in ‘Ang Panday, Ikalawang Yugto’ and I’m in a new horror movie, ‘The Road’, directed by Yam Laranas. I’m focusing on doing positive things in my life.”
