Richard Gutierrez all set to start hosting Survivor Philippines Anew

AFTER HIS final taping for “Captain Barbell”, Richard Gutierrez flew to Los Angeles for a well deserved vacation. Will his rumored new girlfriend be with him? “Wonder who she is,” laughs the ever secretive Chard. “No, I’m with my mom and dad. We’ll have a reunion with other relatives. But even while I’m there, I’ll continue with my triathlon workouts in preparation for the second season of ‘Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown’.”

Does he know who’ll be in the new batch of castaways? “Yes, but I’m not yet at liberty to reveal who they are. The list is not yet complete. I also can’t tell where the location will be this time after we did the first one in Thailand. But again, we’ll tape it for 45 days.”

Taping will be in October and GMA Films want him to do a new movie for them before that. “Sana nga, I wish they’d find a good material for me. After ‘Survivor’ naman, I’ll be doing another soap, hopefully a love story at tigil muna ang superheroes. I’ll also do another environmental docu like ‘Planet Philippines’ that won awards and a new edition of ‘Anatomy of a Disaster’.”

What about the projected reunion movie with Angel Locsin? “Nothing is sure yet, but sana nga matuloy kasi maraming nagre-request. I’ll inform you kapag sure na ang lahat.”
