CONTROVERSIAL CELEB Angelica Jones was seen crying again in “Showbiz Central” last Sunday. Two people from San Pablo City who used to work with her filed complaints against her and also asked the help of Laguna Gov. ER Ejercito. Nikki Aquino says she was hired as a production assistant for P150 a day but was treated like a housemaid who cleans the house of Jones and her mom. She says a normal P.A. is paid P340. Worse, Jones has not paid her salary at all. Pastor Belen Jr. was her driver who reported her to the police after she threatened his life when he was asking for his salary. “Binantaan po niya ako, babalikan kita, humanda ka,” he says.
Jones countered that this is just the handiwork of her detractors. “Pakawala sila ng mga kalaban ko sa politika,” she says, implying Illac Diaz, who also filed a case against her, and another political foe have something to do with it. Both Aquino and Belen denied this. We must commend Pia Guanio for handling the interview well, never allowing Jones to just ramble on and go off topic. But we heard that Jones' mom later made a scene in the studio because Pia didn't allow her to go on with what she's saying.
