Barbie Forteza doesn't mind if she's not given priority in the billing of Tween Academy

IN THE BILLING of GMA’s Tween Stars on the banner shown during the presscon of “Tween Academy: Class of 2012”, Elmo Magalona came first, followed by Jake Vargas. Writers present say they believe the love team of Barbie Forteza and Joshua Dionisio should come first and be given priority as they’ve already starred in several TV series on their own. Elmo just supported them in “Pilyang Kerubin” and Jake, in “First Time”.

What can Barbie,who has done a title role in “Nita Negrita”, say about this? “Personally, it’s not an issue for me, for us ni Joshua,” she says. “Unang-una, lahat kami sa cast, we’re all friends, so walang inggitan sa amin kasi lahat kami sa movie, may kanya-kanya namang stories ang bawat love team sa amin. Hindi lang sa’min ni Joshua naka-focused ang story kaya hindi masasabing kami lang ang nagdadala noon. If that would be the case, magiging mas pagod kami dahil mas magiging marami ang scenes namin at sobrang nakaka-pressure naman yun, di ba? Sa ngayon, mas nakakatuwang isiping marami kaming nagko-contribute sa ikagaganda ng ‘Tween Academy’.”

GMA Films exec Joey Abacan said the billing on the banner is not the final one for the film’s poster and the actual film credits. “That was just based on their order of their appearance sa film at sa album nila,” he adds. “Pero mababago pa yan.”

If you want to see the Tween Stars in person, watch out for them when they promote their movie at SM Pampanga this Saturday, August 13; SM Masinag on August 14, and SM Davao on August 19. Premiere night is on August 20 at SM Megamall Cinema 9 and 10.
