Bea Binene refused to talk about her estranged dad

BEA BINENE no longer wants to talk about her parents being separated. She cries everytime she’s reminded of it. She has little communication with her dad, a Chinese businessman, who lives away from them. Ironically, the title of her new show is “Pahiram ng Isang Ina” when it’s her “ama” that she misses so much. At 13 (her next birthday is in November), Bea is quite tall for her age and she seems like adding more inches very fast. Some folks say it won’t be surprising if she’d eventually surpass the height of her ka-love team, Jake Vargas, who’s quite pint sized for his age, 18. “Sana, tumangkad pa rin siya,” she says.

What’s the possibility of Jake wooing her even off cam now that they’re together almost every day because of their TV shows “Pahiram ng Isang Ina”, “Tween Hearts”, “Party Pilipinas” and their movie “Tween Academy: Class of 2012”? “Parang walang ganun,” she says. “Ako, my priorities are my showbiz career, school, and training for wushu. I’m too young para sa love-love na ganyan. I was discovered sa Starstruck Kids 7 years ago and as a child, ‘Lovely Day’ lang ang naging regular show ko. Ngayon talaga ko nakilala ng husto na teener na ko, kaya wala munang boys.”
