We think this is an answer to ABS-CBN who got the rights to the works of the late Mars Ravelo.

“Si Boss Vic ang last man standing sa industry natin now mostly under the control of women like Charo and Malou Santos, Mother Lily Monteverde and Anette Gozon,” says Carlo.

“Ang Puwersang Viva-Carlo Caparas ang ating kontribusyon sa Wikang Pambansa,” says Boss Vic. “We in Viva are proud and happy to have Carlo’s super hit komiks novels. The prolific Carlo is the most successful crossover from bigtime novelist to a multi-awarded film director and Teleserye King with his works serialized on TV to become big hits.”

In the opinion of Donna Villa, Carlo’s wife, she’d rather produce Carlo’s works as movies. “I really prefer movies kasi mas kaya kong i-handle after our Golden Lions Films that made 60 movies at walang nalugi roon,” she says. “Sa TV kasi, walang jackpot diyan, unless you own the network. We tried doing ‘Correctional’ for RPN 9 before, we had 42 commercials, but KBP called me to say hindi puede yun. Kaya mas kikita ka talaga sa movies at mas mabilis pa ang pacing.”
