Edgar Allan Guzman's film to help colleague Joesph Bitangcol

TO THOSE who can’t wait until the end of September for the theatrical release of the acclaimed Cinemalaya film, “Ligo Na U, Lapit na Me” that won the New Breed best actor award for its lead star Edgar Allan Guzman, you can now watch its special uncut screenings at the UP Film Center in Diliman on September 1, Thursday, 5 and 7 PM. Proceeds from this will be for the benefit of actor Joseph Bitangcol whose face was badly hurt in a car accident recently. Edgar and Joseph have the same manager, Noel Ferrer, who produced “Ligo na U”.
