Elmo Magalona gets to kiss Sam Pinto eight times in their movie

IT TOOK no less than eight takes for Elmo Magalona to perfect his lips-to-lips kissing scene with Sam Pinto in “Tween Academy: Class of 2012”. His male co-stars in the movie (Joshua Dionisio, Jake Vargas, Kristoffer Martin, Derrick Monasterio and Alden Richards) are envious and sound bitter in teasing him that he did it on purpose. They even said their director, Mark Reyes, is guilty of favoritism as it’s only Elmo who gets to kiss Sam, FHM’s Sexiest Woman.

“Sa story kasi, ako talaga ang may crush kay Sam who’s our teacher,” Elmo explains. “I guess I’m really lucky na I’m assigned to do that role at may kissing scene pa. But I was so nervous doing it as it’s my first kiss. For Sam kasi, it’s no big deal for her kaya naging comfortable agad ako sa kanya. But then, noong kinukunan na, mali ang timing ko, or kailangan ng ibang angles, kaya inabot ng eight takes. Hindi ko naman yun sinadya at wala namang malice yun.”
