Jake Cuenca knows how to use his body to the fullest

WASN’T JAKE Cuenca ill at ease on the set of “My Neighbor’s Wife” as all his co-stars, including Director Jun Lana, are all Kapuso talents and he’s the only Kapamilya? “Hindi naman kasi they made me feel welcome from day one,” he says. “Naging comfortable kami agad with each other and I feel so lucky kasi I get to do love scenes with both Lovi Poe and Carla Abellana who are both so very desirable.”

With whom does he have more bedscenes? “With Lovi, kasi kami ang mag-asawa sa story. Si Carla is married to Dennis Trillo and ours is an illicit love affair.”

Director Jun Lana says he’s very cooperative in his nude love scenes? “Wala namang problema sa’kin kasi nagawa ko na yan before with Angel Locsin in ‘In the Name of Love’. Also, I’m confident with my body. Pinaghihirapan ko ito with my regular workouts and, as they say, if you got it, flaunt it. If you don’t have it, di huwag. I’ve been daring even in the fashion shows and the billboard pictorials that I did so I know how to use my body to the fullest basta kailangan.”

When it comes to acting, he also did his best. “Siempre, kasama ko si Dennis Trillo. Ang dami na niyang acting awards, so dapat galingan ko rin para hindi niya ko maiwanan. I have to match yung husay niya, di ba? At confident naman akong hindi ako mapapahiya sa acting na pinakita ko in ‘My Neighbor’s Wife’.”
