JC TIUSECO, first "Survivor Philippines" winner, is just waiting for “Sisid” to end this month, then he will undergo a knee operation. “I had an accident playing basketball some months ago,” he says. “Nagkaroon ako ng torn anterior cruciate ligament problemin my right knee. It has to be corrected kasi every now and then, namamaga at sumasakit. Sa ‘Sisid’ nga, when I do fight scenes, there’s pain at nahihirapan akong itapak yung leg ko paglakad kaya kailangan na talagang ipaopera. Dahil din dito, hindi na ko makapaglaro ng basketball ngayon. After the operation, I’ll have to undergo therapy and in 6 months daw, good as new na ito at puede na ko uli mag-basketball.”
Is it true he and Dominic Roco are feuding as to who should get Jackie Rice when “Sisid” ends? “Huh? Walang ganun. Dom and I get along fine, lahat kami sa show, maganda bonding namin, along with our director, Ricky Davao. Okay lang sa’kin kung Jackie will end up with Dom sa katapusan ng soap namin. Ang dami ng hirap na pinagdaanan ng characters nila as it is. This week, tutulungan ko si Dom as Sig to look for Jackie as Eden kasi nawawala ito. What we don’t know is she’s abducted by the men of Dom’s mom, si Alicia Meyer, para ibenta sa isang kasa ng mga babaeng bayaran.”
