Nadine Samonte feels she souldn't be compared with Alex Gonzaga

WHAT CAN Nadine Samonte say about the rumor that TV5 stars are sore at her for the special treatment she’s getting from the Kapatid Network as the star of “The Sisters”? “Hindi ko naman napi-feel yun kasi they’re nice naman to me,” she says. “At wala naman sila dapat ikagalit sa’kin kasi magkakaiba naman kami, like Alex Gonzaga, she not only acts, she’s also a host so mas marami siyang ginagawa kaysa sa’kin. Sana huwag na lang kaming pagkumparahin. Magtrabaho na lang lahat nang magtrabaho.”

Has she moved to her new condo that she bought with her talent fee from “The Sisters”? “No, hindi pa na-turn over sa akin, e. But the new car I bought, an Audi, dina-drive ko na.”

How’s “The Sisters” doing so far? “Very encouraging ang feedback, but most viewers say sana mapanood kami in an earlier time slot. It’s also not sure kung anong oras kami papasok as it depends sa overtime ng ‘Wiltime Bigtime’. But I’m really enjoying portraying two different characters in the show, para kong may split personality na mabait one moment as Cristina at bad and scheming as Bella. It’s a great challenge kasi iniiba make up ko, clothes and hairdo sa bawat eksena ko. Mas mahirap kapag kami ang magkaeksena. My younger sister, Nicole, is the one who doubles for me.”

Nicole, 21, was also present during the presscon of “The Sisters”. She’s a psychology major who works as a pre-school teacher. “She’s a big help para mapadali ang trabaho ko.”
