HOW DOES Steven Silva feel that he’s the winner in Starstruck V and yet he now just supports his second runnerup, Rocco Nacino, who plays one of the leads in the hit danceserye, “Time of My Life”? “Rocco is my friend and, in all sincerity, I’m very happy for him, he deserves it,” he says. “I guess it’s inevitable for us to be compared kasi nga magka-batch kami sa Starstruck V. Okay lang naman sa’kin kahit sabihing he has gone ahead of me. Alam ko naman, I have limitations as I don’t speak Tagalog fluently. I can’t play naman lagi yung balikbayan character like what I played in ‘Koreana’ na marami sa lines ko were in English. Basta I have not lost faith in believing that my time will also come, I just need to be more patient and, of course, dapat tuloy-tuloy rin lang ang study ko how to speak Tagalog well and without an American accent. As of now, basta ginagalingan ko lang yung dance numbers ko in ‘Time of Your Life’, and also my singing and dancing in ‘Party Pilipinas’ para mapansin din ako ng viewers.”
