AN ACTRESS ALSO RUMORED to have gotten pregnant early this year is Denise Laurel after she suddenly went missing in the “Kristine Series”. She now finally admits that she did give birth to a baby boy. She said she hid it at first because she doesn’t know how the conservative Laurel family would react to her pregnancy. They were disappointed that she got pregnant out of wedlock but they eventually accepted her condition and didn’t drive her out of their house like what she expected. “They love me so much and I’m so thankful for their never ending love. Balik-baliktarin mo man ang mundo, ang pamilya mo nandyan para sa ‘yo. They have shown me what it is to love.”
But Denise refused to reveal the identity of her baby’s dad, saying he’s not from showbiz. They’re still together and have not separated. He has even proposed marriage to her but she wants to take her time before consenting to tie the knot. “He’s a great father and we’re just working on things as they come along.”
Denise wants to make a showbiz comeback. She already guested in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and hopes to get more acting jobs as she really wants to make it as an actress.
