Direk Maryo de los Reyes and the secrets of Masculados Dos

DIRECTOR MARYO J. DE LOS REYES may have his hands full helming GMA-7’s hit primetime soap “Munting Heredera” but he’s also busy managing Masculados Dos who now releases a new song, “Hawakan Mo Na”, written for them by RJ Jimenez of Pinoy Dream Academy. It’s a naughty, catchy song that has all the makings of a novelty hit just like their “Jumbo Hotdog” and “Lagot Ka, Lagot Ka”. The Masculados perform it with provocative choreography.

To promote “Hawakan Mo Na”, they have a series of concerts that started at the Bulalo Fiesta in Fairvew last month. Tomorrow, Saturday, they’ll stage it at San Jose del Monte in Bulacan and at Pagcor Tagaytay on September 27. On September 29, they’ll hold it as “Hawakan Mo Na, The Repeat” in Library Malate, then hold it every month at Bulalo Fiesta: “Hawakan Mo Na Ulit” on October 29, “Hawakan Mo Na Naman” on November 19, and a new year show on December 29, “Hawakan Mo Na Bago Pumutok ang 2012”. They also do a series of provincial shows, having just returned from Hasaan in Bukidnon, Misamis Oriental.

Their guests in their shows are Leandro Baldemor, Ampli5, the newest Bagets boy band 1 Problem 6 Solutions, Sexiest Man in the City winner Ward Mendiola, Tintin, Munting Heredera’s Migs Cuaderno and sexpot Ynez Veneracion who performs titillating acts with them. We ask Ynez: “Nahawakan mo na ba ang Masculados na sina Orlando Sol, Enrico Mofar, Robin Robel, Lexter Lazaro, Nico Cordova at Ozu Ong? “Oh yes,” she says. “Nahawakan ko na silang lahat at lahat sila, masarap hawak-hawakan. Wala akong itulak-kabigin.”

During their shows, the boys admit that their fans really touch them, even their private parts. “Hindi maiiwasan lalo’t maraming tao, may humahalik, may kumukurot, may dumadaklot,” says Robin. “Mostly, mga babae.”

Have they received indecent proposals? “Palagi,” says Nico. “Sa Facebook na lang, ang daming gustong i-booking kami, mga bading. Pero di na lang namin pinapansin.”

One of them, Lexter Lazaro, figured in an internet scandal showing a girl doing oral sex on him. “Ex-girlfriend ko yun. Pero break na kami at wala ng communication. Hindi ko naman alam na ipo-post niya yun later sa internet,” he says
