Has Lovi Poe ever cheated a BF before?

LOVI POE looked luscious at the premiere night of “My Neighbor’s Wife” at SM Megamall last Sunday. Everyone later praised her for the intensity of her performance, especially in that scene where she slaps husband Dennis Trillo after learning that he’s cheating her with Carla Abellana and also in that scene where she tells Dennis: “Hindi ako marunong magluto pero magaling ako sa kama.” She has had two relationships before, with Jolo Revilla and Ronald Singson.

In “My Neighbor’s Wife” that opens in theatres today, she is the wife of Dennis who has a one-night stand with Jake Cuenca. In real life, has she ever cheated on her BF? “No, I’m not a boyfriend stealer and I don’t ever see myself doing that as I hate girls who do that,” she says. “I believe in karma so I’d never do something na ayaw ko ring gawin sa’kin.”

Is she really just friends with Jake Cuenca? How come she was his date at the Star Magic Ball? This means she’s special for him. “I have fun hanging out with him but it’s too early to say where this is all going. Sa Star Magic ball, everyone made me feel welcome. Jake made true his promise that he’d take good care of me. Hindi niya talaga ko pinabayaan so I enjoyed it.”

We’ve seen “My Neighbor’s Wife” and the main cast members really did fairly good jobs in their respective roles, but the one who nearly runs away with the movie is Dimples Romana as Carla’s best friend who’s been cheated by her own husband three times, with their housemaids. Dimples was given some funny scene-stealing lines and she really shone in most of her scenes. Also, there are some repetitive scenes that bog down the pacing, making the film longer than necessary. We wish Director Jun Lana would trim it for the film to be less dragging.
