LOOKS LIKE Rufa Mae Quinto has been permanently replaced by Jennylyn Mercado as host in “Showbiz Central”. She no longer showed up in the show last Sunday while Jennylyn got to interview ex-BF Patrick Garcia in the ‘Celebrity Secrets Interpreted’ segment of Mind Master Nomer Lasala. It’s Patrick’s 26th birthday and his Mommy Bing lent some old videos of his to be shown on air when he was still a young boy dancing uninhibitedly and one showing him doing his own version of Doble Kara singing as a man first and a woman later.
Looks like his own folks have been missing Patrick who now plays a villain role in “Iglot”. His mom’s message to him: “Magpakita ka naman para mag-dinner tayo.” His only sister Cheska said: “You have six phone numbers with me and I don’t know which one I should use to get in touch with you so dito na kita babatiin ng happy birthday.”
Jen then asked him: “Who was the last girl you introduced to your family?” And Patrick quipped: “Dapat, ikaw na yung last, e.” Mind Master Nomer guested correctly the initials of his new girl: NM. He said: “Tama.” Jen asked: “Sino yun?” He replied: Basta, sekreto na lang.” Could it be writer Nitz Miralles?
Nomer also correctly guested Patrick’s answers to Jen’s two other questions: If we’d do a duet, what song would you choose? Answer: “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again”
What image enters your mind when you think of Jen? It’s their son Jazz. The fans inside the studio were shrieking with delight with such answers, as if they’re hoping the two would still reconcile when everyone knows Jen is now canoodling with Luis Manzano.
