Kapuso Star and Kapamilya Executive both move to TV-5

AT THE PRESS preview of “Sa Ngalan ng Ina” at SM The Block, we were surprised to see two guys from GMA-7 and ABS-CBN now working with TV5. One is Chuck Allie, who’s part of Starstruck 4. The male winners in that batch are no longer active. Marky Cielo has gone to the great beyond while runnerup Gian Carlo became a teenage dad when he and ABS-CBN’s Eda Nolan had a love child. We used to see Chuck in the regional shows of GMA-7 in Davao, where he is based. But now, he’s working with TV5 as PR writer-specialist. “He writes very well,” says TV5 PR head Peachy Guioguio.

At the same preview, we saw Jeffrey Remigio who used to be an executive of ABS-CBN’s The Filipino Channel and was based abroad. He’s now vice president and head of operations of the Pilipino Global Network, the overseas arm of TV5 that’s slowly making its presence felt among Filipino communities abroad. To Chuck and Jeff, good luck to your new home.
