After denying it before, she finally admitted to Boy Abunda that she and Matteo are indeed on but she added that after the brawl that happened, she doesn’t know anymore where their relationship is going. Coco, her leading man in the recently concluded “Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin”, reportedly kissed her when they saw each other and Matteo got mad, feeling it’s a sign of disrespect since Maja is with him.
Matteo then lunged at Coco to strangle him, calling him “Faggot!” Coco fought back and hit him on the face, breaking his lip. Star Magic issued a statement dismissing it as just a simple case of misunderstanding, adding that the two actors are very sorry it happened and have quickly resolved the issue. They were both instructed to just keep quiet if reporters would try to interview them to prevent adding more fuel into the fire.
