Marian Rivera happy that Amaya is extended until December

MARIAN RIVERA and the entire cast of “Amaya” are happy that GMA-7 has decided to extend the show until December. Originally meant to end in October, the show is rating very high so it’s not surprising that it’s extended. This means Marian will be super busy until the end of the year. She’s in “Ang Panday, Ikalawang Aklat” with Sen. Bong Revilla and will also star in GMA Films’ first salvo for 2012, her first movie team up with Aga Muhlach. “Masaya kahit nakakapagod,” she says. “Kailangang kumayod dahil magpa-Pasko.”

In “Amaya”, Marian’s enemy, Lamitan (Gina Alajar), is stabbed by Paratawag (AJ Dee) but she survives and seeks refuge in the lair of Hilway (Angie Ferro) who’s plotting the death of Mangubat (Gardo Versoza) with Angaway (Ryan Eigenmann).

Mangubat sends Songil (Mon Confiado) to tell his son Bagani (Sid Lucero) to return home. Bagani, who has now become as cruel and fierce as his father, agrees. Lamitan informs Mangubat that Amaya is the girl born with a twin snake who’s predicted to kill him someday.
