Michelle Madrigal on Azkal's Neil Etheridge

MICHELLE MADRIGAL gets her biggest break in “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Langit” as the adopted sister of Carla Abellana. They grow up together. Michelle becomes a fashion designer and Carla, a teacher. Michelle falls for Mike Tan who’s more in love with Carla and marries her. Carla can’t conceive so Michelle agrees to be a surrogate mom for her through in vitro fertilization. Carla meets an accident and becomes comatose. Michelle gives birth to her baby and forces Mike to annul his marriage with Carla who’s now incapacitated and marry her. They do so, but Carla regains consciousness.

Michelle’s career is really on a roll as she’s also about to be launched on the big screen playing the title role in “Huling Sayaw ni Salome” opposite JC De Vera, directed by Zoren Legaspi. “Nakakatuwa nga dahil ang daming magandang developments sa career ko,” she beams. “Sana naman, lahat ng projects ko, maging successful.”

Off cam, she’s being linked to Azkal Neil Etheridge after her breakup from Jon Hall, making people say she’s really fond of guys with foreign blood. “Hindi kami ni Neil,” she says. “Nahihiya nga ako sa kanya, baka sabihing ginagamit ko siya para mapag-usapan. We tweet each other, but we’re really just friends. He’s not my only Azkal friend but also Simon Greatwich, pero kay Neil lang ako nili-link, which isn’t true at all. Ang dami kong trabaho so hindi ko priority ang lovelife sa ngayon.”
