Nadine Samonte intimidated by Nora Aunor

NADINE SAMONTE admits she was initially intimidated working with Nora Aunor in “Sa Ngalan ng Ina”. “Siempre, kabado ko kasi alam ko multi-awarded superstar siya,” she says. “She has very expressive eyes na mata pa lang, kaya ka ng lamunin sa eksena, so you really have to be on your toes when doing a scene with her. E, ang dami pa naman naming eksenang magkasama, so it’s really a challenge for me. Sa eksenang sasampalin ko siya’t kakaladkarin ko, nag-alangan talaga ako. Baka magalit ang fans niya. What’s nice about her is that, inaalalayan niya kaming mga baguhan in our scenes with her. Siya pang nagsabi sa’kin na gawin lang kung ano ang dapat sa eksena. She told me huwag akong mahiyang sampalin siya o sabunutan siya. So in fairness, nagawa naman namin ng maayos ang scene, although alalay pa rin ang pagsampal ko sa kanya kasi ayoko siyang masaktan.”

Is it true and Leandro Munoz are now on? “Hindi pa officially kami. But we date, so let’s see what happens. Kung kami na, sasabihin ko naman. I’m still getting to know him better.”

Does she know Leandro has a teenage daughter? “Yes, di naman problema yun. Ang problema, yung fact na he’s based there at nandito ako. I don’t believe in long distance relationship. So nothing is sure.”
