Robin Padilla co-producing his filmfest entry with Mother Lily

RP PRODUCTIONS will produce the “Mr. Wong” movie intended for the Metro Filmfest starring Robin Padilla, but he clarifies that RP doesn’t stand for his name but for his brother, Rommel Padilla. The movie will also star his daughter Kylie and rumored squeeze Aljur Abrenica. It will be a co-production with Mother Lily of Regal Multimedia.

“Nagpapasalamat akong tinanggap ni Mother Lily ang proposal ko to co-produce ‘Mr. Wong’,” says Binoy. “Magkakatulong kami sa production at alam kong expert naman siya when it comes to publicity and promotions at sa marketing ng pelikula. The movie is my own tribute to Papang Chiquito, one of our best comedians who originally did the Mr. Wong series sa big screen. I’m sure marami pang nakakaala sa character ni Mr. Wong and it’s about time we revive him for the new generation of viewers.”
