Rochelle Pangilinan not yet ready to settle down

ROCHELLE PANGILINAN is so happy over her exposure in “Amaya” as Marian Rivera’s half sister, Marikit. “Kahit saan ako magpunta, Marikit ang tawag sa’kin, which means nagmarka talaga sa tao ang role ko sa show,” she says.

As Marikit, she now becomes the apple of the eyes of Gardo Versoza as Rajah Mangubat. Her mom, Gina Alajar as Lamitan, got the ire of Mangubat who punished her and made her an uripon or slave. Lamitan antagonizes the other slaves so they gang up on her and she experiences the maltreatment she used to on other slaves before. But she learns Marian’s secret about her snake twin sister or kapid (Diana Zubiri) and threatens to reveal it to Gardo.

“Mas gumaganda ang story kaya lalong tumaas ang rating namin,” says Rochelle. Before, she denied her relationship with the hunky Arthur Solinap. But now, she’s more open about it.

Does this mean they’re now more serious with their relationship and thinking of settling down soon? “Naku, wala yun sa mga plano namin. Pareho kaming marami pang plano sa buhay. Lalo na ko, breadwinner ako sa amin, kaya marami pang factors na dapat i-consider. Matatagalan pa yun.”
