Sam Pinto on being paired with Cesar Montano in Hitman

SAM PINTO is honoured to be paired with Cesar Montano in “Hitman”. “I felt flattered when I learned he requested sa Viva na akong makapareha niya,” she says. “He’s an award-winning actor and director and I know I will learn a lot from him. I play Gina, a model na anak ni Ricky Davao but humiwalay ako sa family namin kasi my dad is a crime lord. I fall for Cesar without knowing dati siyang hitman ng daddy ko na gusto niyang paghigantihan, kasama na ako.”

“Hitman” is her fifth movie after ‘Petrang Kabayo’, ‘Enteng Kabisote’, ‘Catch Me I’m in Love’ and ‘Tween Academy’. “This is my most challenging role so far as I’m not just a decoration here kundi mahaba talaga’t importante ang papel ko.”

Sam wants to correct earlier write-ups that she was born and grew up in the States. “I’m the youngest of two girls and was born and raised in Paranaque. We never really stayed abroad. My elder sister works as production manager for Brown Sugar, the company of Rufa Mae Quinto and Boy2 Quizon na mga kasama ko sa ‘Bubble Gang’.”

She’s hoping “Hitman” will be shown in the latter part of November. “I’m leaving kasi for a series of shows with Mark Bautista in the States from October 19 to November 7, so sana, i-release na lang ito when I’m back here na so I can help promote it.”
