    Shalani Soledad officially engaged to Pasig Cong. Roman Romulo

    THOSE WHO KEEP on addressing Shalani Soledad as the ex-girlfriend of Pres. Pinoy should stop doing so as she’s now officially engaged to Pasig Cong. Roman Romulo, son of former Foreign Sec. Alberto Romulo. He’s 44 years old and younger than Pinoy by 6 years. The whole Romulo family has welcomed Shalani warmly and considers her engagement to their brother a match made in heaven.

    The diamond engagement ring the congressman gave to Shalani is a family heirloom coming from their mom, Lovely Romulo. Before Shalani, the congressman was also linked to Summit Publisher Liza Gokongwei, singer Regine Velasquez and actress Aiko Melendez. The actual date of the wedding is still nebulous. Some say it will be in December but the Romulo prefers that it’s set next year to give them all ample time to prepare.
