Will Devaughn an atheist before

WILL DEVAUGHN is happy that after “Dwarfina”, GMA-7 has finally given him a new assignment, “Kung Aagawin Mo ang Langit”, that starts airing tomorrow afternoon.

“I play Waldy, the childhood friend of Carla Abellana who’s secretly in love with her,” he says. “Friend ko rin dito si Steph Henares as Janice, na secretly in love naman sa’kin.”

At the show’s presscon, Will revealed that he is now a Christian. Like a lot of foreigners, he was raised in the U.S. without any religion. He has never been baptized or anything. He never went to church nor prayed. “But I can feel something is missing in my life and I realized it was God. Never akong nakipag-usap sa Kanya before. But now I know that even if you have all sorts of material things, if God is not with you, there’ll always be a void in your life that only He can fill.”
