How come there are reports that they’ve actually been going steady for eight months now? “Sure ba sila? Paano nila nalaman? Buti pa sila, alam nila. Aaminin ko naman pag on na kami talaga. Basta as of now, hindi pa. Mabait naman siya, maalaga. But I have to be sure of my feelings muna. Bihira nga kami magkita kasi araw-araw ako sa ‘Time of My Life’. Kung walang actual taping, we spend the rest of our days in rehearsing our dance numbers kasi madugo talaga siya gawin. Dahil nga sa sobrang pagka-busy namin dito, dapat maging titulo ng show is ‘No More Time for Your Own Life’ dahil puro trabaho na lang kami.”
She’s happy that the show continues to enjoy high ratings even if it’s shown late at night. “Kami kasi ang panghuling soap ng GMA-7 after ‘Iglot’, ‘Amaya’ and ‘Munting Heredera’, pero nakakatuwa dahil kahit late na ang time slot namin marami pa ring followers ito.”
Mark Herras and Rocco Nacino are rivals over her attention in the show. Which one would she end up with when the show concludes? “I really don’t know yet, hindi naman sinasabi sa’min. But I have a feeling that it’s going to be Mark, kahit napakabait ng character ni Rocco. Sa ‘Koreana’ naman noon, rivals din sa’kin sina Rocco and Steven Silva, pero kay Rocco ako napunta.”
So what’s next for her after “Time of My Life” ends in November? “Meron na raw naka-lineup but di pa puedeng sabihin. But I’m also busy with ‘Ang Panday, Ikalawang Aklat’. I play Marian Rivera’s sister. Kasama ko rito si Aljur Abrenica, pero si Marian ang gusto niya. I’m glad to have a Metro filmfest entry at sasama kami sa Parade of Stars on Christmas Eve.”
