“Masaya silang nagkumustahan,” says Annabelle. “Mali naman yung balita noon na hindi maganda ang turing ni Susan kay Lovi. Parang miembro nga ng pamilya ang tingin ni Susan sa kanya kaya huwag na sila intrigahin.”
What can she say about Nadia Montenegro’s latest case against her that she falsified Nadia’s signature in the contract with her two younger kids? “Natanggap ko na ang subpoena. Alam niyang hindi ko ginagawa ang mga binibintang niya sa’kin. Siya ang tiyak na mawiwindang sa mga isasagot ko.”
What about the issue involving daughter Ruffa Gutierrez in the John Lloyd Cruz-Shaina Magdayao breakup? “Naku, sabi ko sa kanya, wag siyang papatol sa ka-cheapan ng mga insecure. Hindi sila magka-level, ano?”
Annabelle’s night was complete when she saw Richard Gutierrez arriving at her party. He was gone for more than a month taping “Survivor Philippines” on location. He just arrived that night from the airport, took a quick shower at home, then went to the party. He says he’s optimistic the new season of “Survivor Philippines” will be an even bigger hit than the previous one that he also hosted. “It’s more exciting dahil the castaways come in pairs kaya mas maraming kakaibang dynamics na mangyayari, mas maraming drama and twists. Also, the island location this time is much better, the water is more pristine at mas maganda pati ang beach. I’m sure viewers will enjoy watching it starting November 14.”
What’s his birthday wish for his mom? “Less stress. Kasi kababalik ko pa lang dito, I learned ang dami palang bagong controversy involving her. I wish she’ll have good health and follow a healthy diet.” Uknown to him, Annabelle ate lechon Cebu before he arrived, even if she’s forbidden to do so.
