Mother Lily is the mother of come backing stars

MOTHER LILY is the mother of comebacking stars. Although Nora Aunor has finished all her scenes for “El Presidente” with Gov. ER Ejercito, it will be released next year yet, so her first movie that will be shown since she came back is the Regal filmfest entry, “Hototay”, with Tirso Cruz III, directed by Joel Lamangan. The controversial Maricel Soriano will star in “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow”, with Gabby Concepcion as her husband, Jericho Rosales as her brother, and Lovi Poe as Jericho’s wife. Also in the cast are Dennis Trillo, Solenn Heussaff and Carla Abellana.

Maricel attended the film’s storycon and she requested Mother Lily to make sure no press people are invited. As we all know, the controversial case filed against her by her two former housemaids is yet to be settled. We think they should fix this soon as no doubt it will be brought up during the film’s promo. As it is, it’s already the second week of October and they have to complete the shooting of both entries for submission to the screening committee by the second week of December. This will be another case of photofinish for Regal’s entries. Even “Shake, Rattle and Roll 13” has yet to start the filming of its three episodes. Mother Lily is also co-producing Robin Padilla’s “Mr. Wong” and this just started shooting. So far, the only entry that has finished principal photography is Imus Productions’ “Ang Panday, Ikalawang Aklat”. Star Cinema’s “Enteng ng Ina Mo” is now half way in its shooting.
