OUR CONDOLENCES to the family of young actor Ram Revilla, 22, son of former Sen. Ramon Revilla Sr. and Gennelyn Magsaysay. He was at home in Paranaque on Friday night with his girlfriend Janelle Manahan, also 22, when two men in bonnets barged in, then brutally stabbed and shot him to death. The girl was also stabbed but she survived and is now at the Asian Hospital. Ram’s younger sister, Mona, was likewise taken hostage by the suspects but was freed later.
Sen. Bong Revilla offered a reward to whoever can help them apprehended the killers, saying “mabait na tao ang kapatid ko at ang alam ko, walang kagalit ito.” They’re trying to investigate the motive up to now.
The late Ram was launched in the movie “Anak Ka ng Tatay Mo” and also did supporting roles in Sen. Bong’s “Exodus” and “Resiklo”. For a while, he became a GMA Artist Center talent and appeared in the Richard Gutierrez series “Kamandag”.
